In the title compound, [Ni(C6H14N2)(C6H16N2)(H2O)(2)]Cl-2 center dot-2H(2)O, the cation lies about a twofold rotation axis. The octahedral complex cation is linked to the Cl- anions by hydrogen bonds to form a layer structure.
