Our existing research showed that the electrospinning jet with a minor whipping instability for the solution with a relatively large concentration could rotate with a high speed around the direction of the maximum electric force gradient. Based on the principle, a conventional plane aluminum plate was successfully used as the collecting device to obtain highly-aligned micro-nano fiber assembly. For the purpose of its subsequent application in carbon micro-nano fibers through pre-oxidization and carbonization, this paper carried on a research on the influence of damp-heat drafting on crystallity and mechanical properties of deposited aligned fibers. Results show that aligned fibrous bundle obtained by using a plane aluminum plate as the collecting device has a low crystallity (22.66%) and strength ((0.58±0.014) cN/dtex). However, after a fourfold damp-heat drafting, these values show a significant increase and are up to 45.90% and (3.02±0.014) cN/dtex, respectively.
