摘要

Exploring the mechanisms of how desired group-level behaviors emerge from distributed local interaction in multi-agent systems has become an active research topic in recent years. Agreement or consensus problem is a typical problem in the area. This paper attempts to present a survey of recent research in agreement problem, using a common nonlinear mathematical framework to allow different methods to be described in a unified way. Under a precise problem description, both continuous-time case and discrete-time case are discussed for multi-agent systems with dynamic topology. Some important questions and possible open future directions are then indicated.
