摘要
A new species of marsupial frog, genus Gastrotheca, is described from high-elevation grasslands in the Andes in Region Amazonas in northern Peru, where even calling males are well hidden in deep moss. The new species is distinguished from all congeners by its unique color pattern that includes a narrow, blackbordered, yellow middorsal stripe. The species apparently belongs to the Gastrotheca phanbea Group, which ranges in the Andes from northern Colombia to northern Peru.
