All-Fiber Gas Conjugate Interference Filter

摘要

In this paper an all-fiber conjugate interference filter based on the use of a gas absorption line combined with Mach-Zehnder configuration has been proposed. The device is coupled by a coupler of two fiber arms, the gas cell including the gas information is added to one balance arm of the interferometer, and it can achieve stable output of pi phase shift by precisely controlling the absorption line of target gas. When cascade the filter with the broadband light source, the spectrum of output light match well with the absorption spectrum of target gas. The conjugate interference filter designed for different detected gas can be achieved by replacing the kind of target absorbing gas in the gas cell. Using acetylene gas as an example, the experimental results show that the filter can obtain comb spectrum corresponding to acetylene gas absorption and can be used in gas concentration detection.
