A new regioisomeric pair of garcimultine A (1) and B (2), one new tocotrienol derivative garcimultine C (8), together with six known compounds were isolated from the fruits of Garcinia multiflora. Their structures were determined by extensive spectroscopic techniques including NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. The regioisomeric garcimultine A (1) and B (2) were not separated due to the rapid equilibration between the two isomeric forms. The compounds isolated were evaluated for their cytotoxicity against four cancer cell lines (HepG2, A549, SGC7901, MCF-7). All isolated compounds showed moderate cytotoxicity on four human tumor cell lines with IC50 values ranging from 4.06 to 35.61 mu M.
