A new species of Schizotetranychus (Acari, Tetranychidae) from Iran

A new species of the genus Schizotetranychus, Schizotetranychus iraniensis sp. nov. collected from Prunus cerasus (Rosaceae), Kerman Province, Iran., is described and illustrated, This is the first report of this genus on Prunus cerasus in Iran.
