摘要

Asymmetric wave driving mechanism was verified through some experiments about a non-contact piezoelectric motor prototype. Based on the finite element analysis, resistance test was carried out on the motor, and the effective work frequency of the motor was determined. The existence of asymmetric wave was verified by amplitude tests. The relationships between rotation speed and driving frequency and voltage were measured. The advantages and disadvantages of two kinds of velocity modulations were compared. The experimental data laid the foundation for the applied research on the asymmetric-wave-driven piezoelectric motor. The studies show that the asymmetric wave has driving capacity, and the piezoelectric motor constructed on the basis of the capacity has a simple structure and is easy to drive.
