Antihyperon polarization in high energy pp collisions with polarized beams

We study the longitudinal polarization of the (Sigma) over bar (-), (Sigma) over bar (+), (Xi) over bar (0), (Xi) over bar (+) antihyperons is polarized high-energy pp collisions at large transverse momenta, extending a recent study of the (Lambda) over bar antihyperon. We make predictions by using different parameterizations of the polarized parton densities and models for the polarized fragmentation functions. Similar to the (Lambda) over bar polarization, the (Xi) over bar (0) and (Xi) over bar (+) polarizations are found to be sensitive to be polarized antistrange sea Delta(s) over bar (x) in the nucleon. The (Sigma) over bar (-) and (Sigma) over bar (+) polarizations show sensitivity to the light sea quark polarizations Delta(u) over bar (x) and Delta(d) over bar (x), and their asymmetry.
