摘要

It is important to plastic deformation analysis for we to understand correctly the geometrical form and properties of yield function of sintered powder materials. In this paper the elliptical cross sections of yield function of sintered powder materials in planes of N, Pπ and Pσ are verified by three-dimensional geometrical analysis, and elliptical sphere of yield function in principal stress coordinates is deducted. The relations between yield function and simplified yield function of sintered powder materials are revealed, and the geometrical forms of simplified yield function are twin elliptical cones and twin hexagonal pyramids respectively.
