摘要

The dual use of electrochemistry and fluorescence spectroscopy for the detection of toxic organophosphorus (OP) compounds is reported. The electrochemical detection of various OP compounds was made possible by an efficient electrochemical sensing device consisting of gold (Au) Interdigitated Electrodes (IDT) on glass substrate. Electrical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) performed on malathion and ethion, in the presence of benzodipyridophenazine (BDPPZ), has yielded picomolar levels of detection of these two well known OP compounds. Selective detection of ethion and malathion for concentrations as low as 0.1,mu M and 10 mu M, respectively was facilitated by fluorescence titration spectroscopy, based on different optical signals produced in the emission spectra.
