Analysis of power grid corp's external environment based on the PESTNG model

With the reforming of electric power system, power grid enterprises are facing a complex situation. Focusing on the development of China's power grid corporation and its external environmental influencing factors, based on field research and questionnaire survey this paper analyzed the shortcomings of the pest model, and proposed pestng model according to the system resource constraint theory. Conducting systematic analysis on factors including political(p), economical(e), social(s) technological(t), natural(n) and generating(g) dimension, it observed how these factors affect power grid corporation, further put forward with standard application procedure of the pestng model and suggestions for power grid corporation to deal with the furious change of external environment.
