摘要
Treatment of serious disease requires chemotherapy which is generally limited by side effects due to drug toxicity and insufficient target specificity This review presents the main achievements obtained with drug-loaded nanoparticles (i.e., nanomedicines) and discusses challenging innovations obtained by rationalizing drug delivery to improve drug bioavailability in targeted diseased cells.
