摘要

All-optical magnetic recording with localized circularly polarized light is studied for realizing ultrafast and high-density magnetic recording. We design plasmonic cross antennas with bit-patterned media and evaluate the Stokes parameters. Using our proposed method, the magnetic recording speed is about 100,000 times faster than that for conventional methods and the recording density becomes over 2Tbit/inch(2).
