Transport and magnetoresistance in double-doped La(2+x)/3Sr(1-x)/3FexMn1-xO3 films

摘要

The transport and magnetoresistance characteristics in the La(2+x)/3Sr(1-x)/3FexMn1-xO3 films prepared by a RF magnetron sputtering method are reported. The films have better epitaxial character with an orthorhombic structure. The films for x <= 0.07 exhibit a typical metal-insulator transition and the film at x = 0.1 favors the semiconductive conduction, which can be fitted by the variable-range hopping model. The maximum magnetoresistance values increase with increasing the Fe content and the film at x = 0.1 has the maximum value of about 19.3%, which is explained by the double exchange interaction.
