Failure mode and effects anal. was carried out to det. the risk of occurrence, importance and detection of polyethylene film defects in an industrial prodn. line. To improve the product quality, a control of raw material and product properties, prodn. process monitoring as well as optional limitation of the amt. of added polymer regranulate were recommended.
