摘要
The third Kavli prize in neuroscience has been awarded this year to Cornelia Bargmann, Torsten N. Wiesel Professor at The Rockefeller University, New York, USA; Winfried Denk, Director of the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research, Heidelberg, Germany; and Ann Graybiel, Institute Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, USA. The prize was founded to recognize outstanding scientific research, and the laureates share the award for their contributions to elucidating basic neuronal mechanisms that underlie perception and decision.
