Since the advanced technologies appear, the geotechnical researchers have gradually realized that the cementation has crucial impact on material structure. At present, the experimental research is the most direct method to clearly observe the failure process of cementation. This paper introduces a three-dimensional experimental study on cemented aluminum balls with different bond radius. A series of tests under complex loading condition were carried out using auxiliary loading devices, including compress-shear-rolling test, compress-shear-twisting test, compress-shear-twisting test and compress-shear-roll-twisting test. The experimental results show that the obtained strength envelope of cemented granular shows an ellipsoid shape, and the normalized strength envelope is an one-eighth sphere with radius being one. The results also provide reference to simulating cemented sand with the Discrete Element Method.
