摘要

Background: The aim of this work is to show the effectiveness of a rehabilitation treatment after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACL) and to optimise the effects of this rehabilitation treatment with addition of integrated electromechanical therapy procedure deep oscillation after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. Methods: A total of 26 patients in postoperative situation after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction were included in the prospective monitoring study. The patients in the treatment group (TG) received deep oscillation therapy additionally to a standard rehabilitation treatment. 8 patients (31%) were male and 18 (69%) female. The mean age was 42 2 years. The control group (CG) receiving no deep oscillation included 20 patients. 7 patients (35%) were male and 13 (65%) female. The mean age was 40 2 years. The mean rehabilitation time for both groups was 19 weeks. A questionnaire was used to establish the Lysholm-Score for function and the numerical rating scale (NRS) to assess the pain symptomatology. Various functional tests (e.g. Lachman-, anterior drawer"- and squat-test), a clinical examination as well as an anamnesis were conducted. In the context of the pre-post-rehabilitation design, the examinations were conducted at the beginning and end of the rehabilitation. Results: Both groups improved significantly from the intial prerehabilitative to the postrehabilitative. value of the Lysholm score and NRS. Nevertheless, the magnitude of the pre-post-improvement was higher for the TG in both cases. The Lysholm of the TG score increased by 21 ( 7) points improving from the "moderate" to "good" category. The CG only increased by 11 ( 8) points corresponding to an improvement from "bad" to "moderate". The NRS (pain) of the TG decreased by 7 ( 2.8) points, from category "strong" to "none/slight". The NRS of the CG decreased 5 ( 3) points, from "strong" on "moderate" on the other hand.
