摘要
This paper demonstrated the phase formation, sintering behavior and magnetic property of Bi-Co-Ti substituted M-type barium hexaferrite with composition of Ba-1 Bi-x(x)(Co-1.1 Ti-+ x(1.1))Fe-9.8 O-x(19)(x = 0.05-0.30), which was prepared by solid-state reaction method. The single-phased M-type hexaferrite is obtained at 900 degrees C. Bi substitution effectively promotes the sintering densification of M-type hexaferrite by liquid phase, so the samples with x > 0.1 can be sintered well at 950 degrees C. Moreover, Bi substitution remarkably improves the soft magnetic properties in very high frequency (VHF). The x = 0.15-0.2 sample sintered at 950 degrees C has mu' = 30 and f(r) = 450 MHz, and higher permeability (mu' > 50) is achieved if sintered at higher temperature. The Bi-Co-Ti substituted samples have Snoek's product much higher than BaM hexaferrites with Co-Ti substitution only, which well facilitates the VHF applications.
