摘要

This paper presents a multi-stage stochastic model for short-term transmission expansion planning. Transmission planning studies deal with many uncertainties. Load uncertainty has been considered in this paper. Monte Carlo simulation method has been applied for generating scenarios. Scenario reduction techniques are used for reducing the number of scenarios. The objective function is to minimize the sum of investment costs (IQ and expected operation costs (OC). The solution technique is based on benders decomposition algorithm. Deterministic N-1 contingency criteria have been also considered The proposed model is applied to the IEEE 24-bus Reliability Test System. The results obtained show the efficiency of the proposed method.
