Description of two new subspecies of Virpazaria pageti GITTENBERGER 1969 from Croatia (Gastropoda: Pulmonata: Spelaeodiscidae)

Based on their characteristic shell morphology, two subspecies of Virpazaria (V) pageti GITTENBERGER 1969 (Gastropoda: Pulmonata: Spelaeodiscidae) from Croatia are described as new to science: Virpazaria (Virpazaria) pageti kleteckii n. subsp. and Virpazaria (Virpazaria) pageti alexanderi n. subsp. This is the first evidence of the presence of this genus in Croatia.
