Design of quasi-periodic orbit about the translunar libration point

The quasi-periodic orbits about the translunar libration point are extraordinary useful and their designing method is always the focus of research. In order to avoid the limitation that the perturbation analysis is neglected during the orbit design process by using the circular restricted three-body model, an improved designing method that combines high precision ephemeris model with the multiple-shooting method is proposed. Specifically, based on the quasi-periodic orbit's feature in the instantaneous libration coordinate system and the principle of libration points'motion, with the help of multiple-shooting method, a new designing method for the quasi-periodic orbits is given. Simulations indicate that the improved method can design a quasi-periodic orbit effectively.
