A facile one pot micro-molar scale radiolabelled synthesis of 2- [C-14]-uracil from [C-14]-urea and propiolic acid in the presence of polyphosphoric acid is reported.
A facile no-carrier-added one pot micro-molar scale radiolabelled synthesis of 2-[C-14]-uracil from [C-14]-urea and propiolic acid in the presence of polyphosphoric acid (PPA) with an yield of 48.33% and with radiochemical purity of 98% is reported in this paper.
