A Method for Fast Screening of Allergenic Fragrance Substance in Plush Toys

摘要

A novel method based on thermal desorption coupled with gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (TD-GC-MS) was developed for the rapid screening of thirty. eight fragrance allergens in plush toys. Samples were directly subjected to thermal desorption without complicated pretreatment, and then the volatilization amount at certain condition was determined by GC. MS with the external standard method. The results of all compounds showed good linearity in the range of 0. 005-10 mu g. The limits of quantification (LOQ, S/N = 10) were 0. 05 - 0. 5 mg/kg. The correlation equation between the volatilization amount and the total residue amount was proposed and developed to conclude the total residue amount from the volatilization amount. This method has been applied to determine fragrance allergens in plush toys sample with good results.
