Its control and surveillance are important tools used in animal health programs, which aims to control and eradicate diseases. The risk of disease introduction as well as federal laws and importing countries demands require new ways of controlling animal movement in order to prevent sanitary disasters. Therefore, this paper aims to describe the tools used to register farms and to control the cattle transit in Brazil.
