摘要

Patterns of electron heating and absorption of laser radiation acting on a plasma, which are realized in the mode of the normal skin effect, are studied. The consideration is based on an equation for the electron temperature, taking into account the heating of electrons in a skin layer and their cooling due to removal of heat in the depth of the plasma. It is shown that quantitative simulation of the response of a plasma with a solid-state density to the influence of a femtosecond laser pulse is provided by the consecutive description of the evolution of the electron temperature in the skin layer, which takes into account the spatial field structure of the same laser pulse.
