Noise removal model based on wavelet and PDE

Based on the total variation using L1 norm as a measure of the fidelity term, a model for image de-noising is developed. In the proposed model, the modulus of gradient is substituted by the modulus of wavelet transform, which gives the results that the new model can preserve edges better and has stronger ability resisting noise. Experimental results show the improvement of the proposed model.
