Because of similarities in the foam separation process and chemical reaction process in physical behavior, the theory of chemical reaction progress is applied to the foam separation process, and the equivalent chemical reaction constant is introduced here. The result indicates that under a balanced state the process of coprecipitation flotation can be regarded as a one grade reaction under the best isolation rate, where the equivalent speed constant is k=0.537, the average resting time is tm=9.85 min, and the variance is σ02=0.525. Combined with the relevant experiment, the distribution density function of resting time was confirmed. The influence factors influencing the foam separation process isolation rate of fluid flowing are studied, and a method for improving isolation rate is given based on reducing back-mixing.
