摘要

The genetic structure of three populations of the surf clam Mactra corallina (Mollusca: Bivalvia) from the Tunisian coast was investigated using allozymic and morphological markers. The analysis of five enzyme systems showed that they are controlled by nine loci, eight of which are polymorphic. The average polymorphism of the eight loci of the three populations was (86%). Mean numbers of allele and of heterozygosity ranged from 2.66 to 2.70 and from 0.460 to 0.483 respectively. The mean F-ST value equals to 0.169 and the genetic distance among populations which ranged from 0.092 to 0.160 were translated at a low level of population differentiation. Indeed, the two populations of Kalaat El Andalous, away by 10 km, were alike in the isometry between the two linear variables: Thickness/Length and Thickness/Height. So, the Gabes population was distinguished from two previous populations by a minorant growth for all linear parameters.
