摘要

In this paper a new displaced dipole for calculating particles interaction force in electrorheological fluids is proposed. The theroy of displaced dipole model is analyzed and the method on calculating the pair particles attractive force in the electrorheoloigcal fluids is studied. A formula to calculate the neighor-pair attractive force is proposed. The results of attractive force of using displaced dipole method are compared with those obtained from the dipole method and finite-element analysis method, and it revealed that the displaced dipole model is better than the classic diploe model and interactive dipole model in calculating particles attractive force in elcetrorheological fluids.
