摘要

This paper aims to develop a decision scheme of an evaluation process through approximate reasoning. A similarity measure based on ordered weighted average (OWA) operator is being used. A new ranking strategy is defined here. The distinguishable feature of the ranking strategy is that a fuzzy `yard stick' is defined and on the basis of which subjects' overall merits are adjudged by approximate reasoning. The human part of decision-making is well involved in this process to support it as a true decision-support-system.
