摘要

As the valve position changes, the water hammer produced by accidental pump-stop and its influence on pump system changes. This paper analyzed the operation principle of two kinds of single valve regulation mode which were modes of pump outlet valve and valve at the end of pipe. Combined with practical use, comparative analysis between two modes, were made which shows that when transient flow control valve was settled at the end of pipe to do single valve regulation, there would start up a step-up water hammer wave which spreads by adverse current. The step-up wave would make a negative superposition with the step-down water hammer wave produced on the pump outlet side, which would control the oscillatory of water hammer pressure process more effectively.
