摘要
The title compound, C16H13ClFNOS, possesses potent antibacterial activity. The overall molecular conformation is described by the dihedral angles of 43.0 (1)degrees between the 3-chloro-4-methylbenzene and thiazolidinone rings, and 88.8 (5)degrees between the thiazolidinone and 4-fluorobenzene rings. The 3-chloro-4-methylbenzene ring is disordered over two positions with occupancy factors approximately 3:1.
