Let G be a simple connected graph with m edges, and the line graph of G with degree sequence t(1) >= t(2) >= ... >= t(n). This paper presents a new upper bound for the Laplacian spectral radius of Gas follows:
mu(1)(G) <= min(1 <= i <= m){t(i)+3+root(t(i)+1)(2)+4(i-1)(t(1)-t(i))/2}.
