DEA efficiency evaluation to complex production systems is of great value, however, the related researches are still scarce. The tree-like production system is a typical complex system. Traditional DEA CCR approach ignores the interior process of complex systems and overrates the technique efficiencies. Considering the interior process of complex systems, this paper advances a DEA-based model for efficiency evaluation to a tree-like production system. The model can rate the technique efficiencies of tree-like systems more reasonably and can find out the potential for system improvement more greatly. The numerical example for marketing systems is presented to demonstrate the rationality of the proposed model.
