摘要

For the nonlinear control problem of switching DC-DC converters, a new control technique called as multilevel pulse train (MPT) was proposed. MPT controlled Boost converter operating in discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) was studied in this paper. By using MPT control method, multilevel control pulses were combined to generate a pulse train for the control of power converters. The principle and process of MPT control technique were introduced. Then the steady-state and stability analysis of MPT controlled DCM Boost converter were presented. On the premise of enjoying fast transient performance, MPT controlled converter has much lower output voltage ripple than traditional pulse train (PT) converter. Simulation and experimental results show the validity of the proposed control scheme.
