摘要

The authors sum up the questionnaires responded by 780 active donors donating blood at blood banks and of 490 reserve donors donating blood at mobile sessions. There were not significant differences in social and demographic characteristics between groups of donors. Men (married and single) donated blood more actively at blood banks, while women (particularly married) more actively donated blood at mobile sessions (68.1 vs 54.1%). The countrymen more often donated blood at mobile sessions. Employees and students preferred blood donation at mobile sessions. Individuals with high salaries (1.5 times higher than the mean for the country and higher) preferred blood donation at blood banks to mobile sessions (5.9 and 2.6% of all donors in subgroups, respectively).
