摘要

A new method of modifying the position of node touching on the die, named the method modifying the node touching on the die according to its original normal (MMNTDON), has been proposed. By this new method, the `dead lock'; problem due to scatted die meshes can be avoided. This solution has been tested by simulating blade forging with 3-D rigid-viscoplastic FEM, considering interface friction between the die and the billet. During the simulation, remeshing was carried out by the remeshing method proposed by the authors. At every increment, the new method modified the position of node touching on the die. The result shows this new modification method is practicable and reliable.
