摘要

We demonstrate for the first time a mild deposition of metallic materials on a plastic film, (poly) ethylene tetraphthalate (PET), enabled by phage displayed peptides. Peptide-binding motifs to PET are comprehensively screened from a library of phage displayed peptides, and a bifunctional peptide with a PET-binding motif and a metal synthesis motif is designed. This further allows for the assembly of metallic materials on PET under a mild environment.
