A chaotic map-control-based and the plain image-related cryptosystem

摘要

A novel image encryption algorithm based on the total plain image and tent map is proposed in this work. The pixels' value of a plain image and an initial key are firstly quantified to be a decimal to be used as the initial value of tent map. The quantification algorithm is mainly based on multiplication operation. Therefore, the tiny changes of the plain image can lead to very different quantification results. Then, a digital sequence generated from tent map is transformed to two ergodic sequences which are used for the following permutation, and the diffusion is controlled at the same time. In the diffusion process, the pixel values are modified based on the division and modulus operations according to eight special chaotic values. Finally, the performance analysis and test experiments are achieved, and the results illustrate that there is a high security against several common attacks.
