摘要

In China, great changes have taken place in many areas related to the organizational design of university such as the size of colleges and universities, external competitive environment, technological innovation, innovation of organizational strategies and organizational culture of colleges and universities, which make them be faced with the great need of the organizational innovation. Using Organizational Web Model as an analytical tool, this paper investigates the competitive capacity of university organization from the perspective of the resource-based. The research shows that compared with that of structure-based organizational design, the concept of process-based organizational design emphasizes the significance of external efficiency of university organization, strengthens its interaction between internal and external environment, making universities adapt to environmental changes and achieve its desired objectives at the same time.
