摘要
We consider the Dedekind sum s(a, c) in rational function fields. It is very similar to the classical Dedekind sum D(a, c). The objective of this study is to give a good upper bound of the degree of the denominator of s(a, c). As an application of our result, we present a condition on the elements a(1), a(2), and c of F-q[T] such that s(a(1), c) = s(a(2), c).
