This paper analyzes the influence on Cloud Computing adoption exerted by three major agents of the environment: Public Administrations, R&D Institutions and Technology Providers. Results of an empirical study based on a survey administered to high-tech companies located in Technology parks Spain point out that Technology Providers are the most relevant agents involved in Cloud Computing Adoption. Technology Providers exert an influence on adoption in both cases, when they act in an isolated way and when they work together other agents that might be also involved in Cloud Computing Adoption. However, R+D institutions do also exert an influence on adoption when there is no effect produced by Technology Providers while Public Administrations never exert a significant effect on adoption. These results allow to draw conclusions and implications relevant to business management.
