The products products were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and transmission electron microscopy. xLa(Mg1/2Ti1/2)O-3-(1 - x)(La0.5Na0.5)TiO3 ceramics formed solid solutions throughout the compositional range with no evidence of a secondary phase. High-density xLa(MgiaTiliz)O-3-(1 - x)(La0.5Na0.5)TiO3 ceramics x = 0.4-0.7 were prepared by solid-state reaction. The microstructure and microwave dielectric properties of xLa(Mg1/2Ti1/2)O-3-(1 - x)(La0.5Na0.5)TiO3 ceramics system with B2O3 additions (1 wt.%) have been investigated by the conventional solid-state route have been studied. Doping with B2O3 (1 wt.%) can effectively promote the densification and the dielectric properties of xLa(Mg1/2Ti1/2)O-3-(1 - x)(La0.5N0.5)TiO3 ceramics. 0.6La(Mg1/2Ti1/2)O-3-0.4(La0.5Na0.5)TiO3 ceramics with 1 wt.% B2O3 addition possesses a dielectric constant (epsilon(r)) of 36, a Q x f value of 25,500 GHz (at 8 GHz) and a temperature coefficients of resonant frequency (tau(f)) of 5 ppm/C sintering at 1475 degrees C. As the content of La(Mg1/2Ti1/2)O-3 increased, the highest Q x f value of 31,000 (GHz) for x = 0.7 was achieved at the sintering temperature 1475 degrees C.
