摘要
The constituents of the essential oil obtained by hydrodistillation of the aerial parts of Lamium amplexicaule L. collected at Northeastern Iran was investigated by GC-MS. Thirty-three components, representing 97.5 % of the oil, were detected, of which trans-phytol (44.8 %), octadecanol (12.0 %), hexadecanoic acid (11.8 %) and hexahydrofarnesyl acetone (10.6 %) were the major components. The major component of the oil, trans-phytol is an abundant component of the essential oil of several Lamiaceae species.
