摘要

Detached eddy simulation method was applied to simulate the eddy current field of a propeller. A structural mesh generation method was proposed to generate high quality meshes in the boundary layer of the blades. Q-criterion and user-defined function was used to investigate shedding vortex of the blade and its frequency characteristic. Propeller noise was predicted by solving the Ffowcs Williams-Hawkings equations in which fluctuating pressure on the blade surface was treated as a source term. Spectrum analysis shows that low-frequency discrete line spectrum and high-frequency vortex noise of the propeller are well predicted. It is shown that vortex noise is a type of single tune with frequency same as the vortex shedding frequency and sound pressure level (SPL) 15 dB greater than that of the broadband noise by the fluctuating pressure.
