摘要

To investigate the cardioprotective effect of glaucocalyxin A (GLA) on H2O2-induced H9c2 cardiomyocytes injury in vitro, H9c2 cells were pretreated with different concentrations of GLA for 4 h and then exposed to 250 mu M H2O2 incubation for 6 h. The cell viability was measured by MTT assay to determine the effects of GLA. Pretreatment H9c2 cells with the concentrations of 0.125, 0.25 and 0.5 mu g/mL of GLA attenuated significantly H2O2-induced cell injury compared to H2O2 group (P < 0.05), and prevented the H2O2-induced destruction in a dose-dependent manner. The results exhibited that GLA pretreatment protected H9c2 cells from H2O2-induced injury and markedly improved cell viability.
