摘要

This paper introduces a multiscale maximum entropy image reconstruction algorithm for two-dimensional synthetic aperture imaging radiometers The novelty of the method is to use wavelet decomposition to control the noise amplification in the different scales And our work is focused on the application and the adjustment of the Maximum entropy method (MEM) to the Earth observation situation Several numerical simulations have been performed for synthetic aperture imaging radiometers in the Geosynchronous Earth orbit (GEO) The simulation results indicate that, with the proposed method, it is feasible to improve the spatial resolution of the reconstructed image while preserving the radiometric sensitivity simultaneously
