摘要

This paper proposes a new error-concealment technique for the robust transmission of textured 3D model over lossy network. For repairing the lost parts of the received textured mode at client side, an efficient predictive reconstruction mechanism is developed in this paper. In order to improve the predictive accuracy, the lost vertices'; geometry and texture information will be estimated by two different predictive methods. The Average-Same-Weigh-Prediction method is proposed to reconstruct the lost vertices'; geometry information. Besides, a special hybrid predictive method including the above Average-Same-Weigh-Prediction and Same-Chart-Parallelogram-Prediction is presented in order to solve the discontinuity problem in the texture mapping.
